Location and Facilities
St Peter’s Girls is located in Adelaide’s picturesque foothills at Stonyfell, just 5km from the CBD. It is an exclusive site with a mix of historic and modern buildings bounded by tranquil bushland. The campus features first-class facilities including science and computer laboratories, a Performing Arts Centre, heated outdoor pool, gymnasium, netball/tennis courts, a large sporting oval and a brand new Middle School.
Our new Middle School was launched in July 2017, creating flexible and transparent learning spaces which take advantage of our stunning natural surrounds. At the start of 2018, St Peter's Girls opened a new Library, cementing it as the academic heart of the School. Now, we've embarked upon the next chapter with the launch of our new Science Centre, featuring state-of-the art laboratories and stunning Art spaces.
These are key milestones in the School’s Master Plan. Read more about our Future Direction here.
Some of our facilities are available for hire by the public and members of the School community.
The Arts Centre is a fabulous venue for a range of events including theatre, music or dance performances, lectures, seminars or professional development sessions. The lower level of seating retracts to make way for tabled seating arrangements or added floor space. The stage area is fully equipped with various sound and lighting options. The auditorium seats a maximum of 400 guests.
The gym, tennis/netball courts and oval are also available for private hire. These areas may suit twilight cinemas, quiz nights, sporting competitions or practices, and other community events. To ensure exclusive use and to reserve specific times, bookings are required and fees apply.
