Leading with Integrity and Imagination
Student Leadership
At St Peter’s Girls, we inspire our students to become women of character and influence who lead with courage, creativity and compassion.
Leadership opportunities from Year 6 through to Year 12 provide our students with valuable qualities and experience which
they can use in later life.
Leading with Integrity and Imagination
At St Peter’s Girls’ School, we believe every girl has the potential to lead. Following in the footsteps of our pioneering founding Sisters, we nurture leadership from the earliest years, creating opportunities for our students to develop confidence, initiative and the skills to make a positive difference in their communities and beyond.
Our leadership program is grounded in our school values of courage, creativity and compassion, guided by our motto Pro Ecclesia Dei – Beati Mundo Corde (For the Church of God: Blessed are the Pure in Heart). We encourage our students to challenge, serve and lead with integrity and imagination.
Through diverse formal and informal leadership opportunities across Year 6, Year 9 and Year 12, Saints Girls develop the confidence to step forward, the wisdom to serve others, and the character to lead with purpose.
Our bespoke Leadership Matters Program is designed to lift our girls to even greater heights.

Senior School Prefects
The Prefect body represents the pinnacle of student leadership at St Peter’s Girls’ School. Our 13 Prefects, distinguished by their white blazers, exemplify the values of courage, creativity and compassion. These young women serve the school community with dedication, representing Saints Girls at school events, supporting younger students, and leading by example in all aspects of school life.
The Prefect application process is rigorous and thorough, involving written applications, interviews, and peer feedback. Students are selected based on their demonstration of our school values, their commitment to service, and their ability to inspire and lead others.
