Sport Scholarship
Each year, a select number of Sport Scholarships may be awarded to external students who can demonstrate an ability to perform at an elite level in their sporting disciplines and possess a strong academic record. These scholarships recognise talent as well as dedication and potential, providing recipients the opportunity to excel both on the field and in the classroom.
Rowing at St Peter’s Girls’ School
Rowing is a unique sport that requires a substantial commitment from participants, demanding dedication and resilience. In turn, it provides a truly unique opportunity to develop character, teamwork, and build lifelong friendships.
The Rowing program at St Peter’s Girls’ School supports our students’ holistic development as strong, capable and confident young women. Through expert coaching, structured training, and competitive opportunities, each participant is encouraged to push her limits, embrace challenges, and reach her full potential both on and off the water.
Performing Arts
At St Peter’s Girls’ School, we celebrate the vital role the Arts play in a well-rounded education, valuing the power of creativity, self-expression and exploration. We recognise that early engagement in the Arts nurtures confident communicators and curious learners, supporting language, social development and overall academic achievement. Our highly sought-after Performing Arts Program gives our girls the confidence, guidance and resources to explore their passions and master their craft.
Music and Instrumental Tuition
The School’s multi award-winning Music Program fosters a passion for performance and music in all of its forms. More than half of our students play an instrument or learn voice. We run more than 20 co-curricular ensembles with around 350 girls participating in weekly rehearsals.
Music is embraced by all year groups and we provide a coordinated academic pathway for girls who wish to continue studying SACE or IB Music throughout their senior schooling and beyond.
Our Music tutors offer private instrumental and voice tuition.
Music Scholarship
Each year, a select number of Music Scholarships may be awarded to internal and external students who demonstrate exceptional ability in music and minimum AMEB grades for their entry year level following audition.
Drama and Dance
Drama at Saints Girls empowers students to be actively involved in the creative process — from planning and rehearsing to performing original and collaborative works across a range of mediums. Dance provides enriching opportunities for students to deepen their appreciation of movement as a dynamic artform, developing both as thoughtful choreographers and expressive performers.
We are proud of our outstanding musical, drama and dance productions, which enrich and extend the strong curriculum foundations established through our comprehensive and inclusive Dance, Drama and Music program from Reception to Year 12.
Performing Arts Scholarship
Each year, a select number of Performing Arts Scholarships may be awarded to internal and external students with a minimum of 4 years of dance training, have a strong academic record and a proven ability to perform at an elite level.
