Connecting Generations of Saints Girls
Old Scholars
Our graduates can be found all over the globe, yet they remain connected to the School where their friendships formed and their sense of knowledge, self and future took shape.
Since its inception in 1914, the Old Scholars' Association (OSA) has been a pivotal part of our students' experience.
Our mission is to foster enduring connections among alumnae, celebrating shared experiences and achievements that span generations. During their school years, we aim to instil a sense of community and purpose in our students, and our Old Scholars play an active role in this. Past students understand better than anyone what it means to be a Saints Girl, and the community they've built provides invaluable support to our School and students.
Steering the OSA with Passion and Dedication
The Old Scholars’ Association is managed by a dedicated Council, representing a diverse range of our alumni. Meeting quarterly, the Council collaborates to plan events, initiatives, and strategies that strengthen the alumnae network.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM), held in March welcomes all members and we encourage those interested in shaping the future of the OSA to nominate for Council positions. The Council’s efforts are supported by the Community Relations Office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Giving Back
Our Old Scholars are not simply past students, they are vital members of our School community. The connection between past and present is about more than tradition; our Old Scholars play an active role in shaping the next generation of Saints Girls.
Whether offering mentorship through the Old Scholars’ Tutor Program, speaking to students about their career journeys or contributing to academic and co-curricular support, our alumnae are a vital link between St Peter’s Girls’ rich history and its vibrant present.
Scholarships and Support
Demonstrating our commitment to educational accessibility, the OSA offers an annual scholarship to external students entering Years 5 to 8. This scholarship is awarded to candidates who exhibit all-round ability and have a family connection to the School, ensuring that the legacy of Saints Girls can continue through generations.
Reunions and Events
The OSA hosts a variety of events throughout the year, celebrating milestones and creating new memories. These events provide opportunities for Old Scholars to reconnect and celebrate their shared heritage. The Annual Reunion Dinner in June honours Old Scholars marking significant milestones, including 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, and 60-year anniversaries.
For younger Old Scholars, the “A Touch of Blue” cocktail evening offers a vibrant setting to rekindle friendships. Interstate reunions in cities such as Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, and Perth ensure that connections remain strong, regardless of location.
Our Old Scholar events are a fantastic way for our community to come together, reconnect and reminisce.

Philanthropy: Supporting Future Saints Girls
Philanthropy plays a vital role in our School and ensuring its continued growth. Many Old Scholars choose to give back through donations, bequests or involvement in fundraising initiatives that directly support the School’s facilities, programs and scholarships.
These generous contributions help us provide exceptional opportunities for current and future students, continuing the legacy of excellence and community that defines our School.

Tatum Gould (née Hawley, Selwyn 2004)
President
Tatum graduated from St Peter’s Girls’ School in 2004 and has stayed connected to the School since then. She joined the Old Scholars’ Council in 2024 and is happy to continue as the current President of the Old Scholars’ Association.
After leaving school, she spent time living and studying in Queensland before returning to South Australia to start her own business. She is a Senior Physiotherapist and Exercise Physiologist, and the Managing Director of Body Plus Health, a physiotherapy clinic in Stonyfell.
As both an Old Scholar and a parent, Tatum feels especially connected to the School.
Living and working locally, Tatum has seen just how strong and connected the Saints Girls community is, and how much the School continues to grow and evolve. She is excited to stay involved, build connections among Old Scholars, and contribute to the community in the future.
